Booking Terms and Conditions

1. TERMS OVERVIEW

1.1. Please read these Booking Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking with Daisy’D Limited (“Daisy’D”, “we”, “us”). These terms explain how we deliver services, how bookings can be changed or cancelled, how to handle issues, and other key details.

1.2. These terms must be read alongside our Website Terms and Conditions.

1.3. By booking through our website, you agree to follow these terms. If you believe there’s an error or you disagree with any part, please contact us at daisyd.cleaningservice@gmail.com. Do not book if you do not accept these terms.

2. SUMMARY

2.1. Here’s what you agree to:

  • Daisy’D is not a cleaning provider. We operate a platform for booking cleaning services, manage scheduling, and process payments.

  • Services are delivered by self-employed cleaners registered on our platform. A separate contract is formed between you and the Cleaner.

  • We are not liable for the services provided, but we may step in to reschedule if issues arise.

  • You agree to our Cancellation Policy, including possible fees.

  • We are not liable for any financial losses related to business disruption or data loss.

  • We may update these terms, and the terms in place when your booking is confirmed will apply.

  • Your legal rights as a consumer remain unaffected, and we accept liability for death or injury due to our negligence or fraud.

3. COMPANY INFORMATION AND CONTACT

3.1. Daisy’D Limited is a UK-registered company (Company No. 12413947), located at 36B Curzon Road, London, N10 2RA.

3.3. We’ll contact you via phone, email, or your postal address used during booking.

3.4. “Writing” includes emails.

4. OUR ROLE

​

4.1. We provide an online platform for booking cleaning services.

4.2. We don’t offer cleaning services ourselves. We facilitate bookings, send invoices, and pass payments on to Cleaners.

5. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

​

5.1. When you book, you enter two contracts: one with Daisy’D and one with the Cleaner.

5.2. Our role includes managing bookings and payments, and maintaining the website.

5.3. We ensure your booking is made available to Cleaners and handle your payment.

5.4. The service contract (“Cleaning Agreement”) is between you and the Cleaner. We are not liable for the actual service.

5.5. We operate solely in the UK.

5.6. You must be 18+ to book via our site.

6. THE WEBSITE

​

6.1. You can use our site to schedule and pay for cleaning services provided by independent Cleaners.

6.2. Availability and images on the website are illustrative. Cleaners are responsible for providing services as described and upholding standards.

7. MAKING A BOOKING

​

7.1. We may request valid ID.

7.2. Bookings should be made under your own name.

7.3. After registering, choose your service, location, and time. You’ll see the estimated cost and time required before confirming your order.

7.4. You’ll receive an Order Confirmation by email once the booking is accepted. This is when your contract with the Cleaner begins.

7.5. You must treat Cleaners respectfully and ensure a safe work environment.

7.6. Although we screen Cleaners with background checks and ID verification, it’s your responsibility to safeguard personal items.

8. PAYMENT

General

8.1. Prices may change and are based on hourly or flat rates.

8.2. Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.

8.3. You’re responsible for any extra charges like currency conversion.

Payment Process

8.5. We don’t use a payment gateway. We’ll send you bank transfer instructions.

8.6. We reserve the right to decline payments due to insufficient funds or suspected fraud.

8.7. We don’t hold funds after booking.

8.8. You’ll be charged after the service is completed, based on the Cleaner’s actual time spent (rounded up to the next minute).

8.9. While we aim to provide a reliable payment system, we can’t guarantee uninterrupted service or immediate payment processing.

8.10. By agreeing:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method in line with actual service duration.

  • You confirm your payment details are accurate and current.

  • You agree to pay fees as displayed at the time of booking.

9. CANCELLATION

​

9.1. You can cancel in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. A 2-week notice period applies in most cases. Cancellation fees may be charged.

10. LIABILITY

​

10.1. Cleaners are responsible for delivering the service. We are not liable for their work.

10.2. We are responsible for:

  • Managing bookings and payments.

  • Confirming Cleaners hold professional insurance.

  • Conducting identity and background checks.

10.2.5. Our liability is limited to 125% of the service fee.

10.2.6. We are not liable for business-related losses.

11. DAMAGE

​

11.1. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft at the property. Cleaners aim to work carefully, but accidents may occur. We recommend having suitable home insurance coverage.

12. REFUNDS

​

12.1. We do not offer refunds. Inspect the work before your Cleaner leaves.

12.2. Report any issues within 24 hours. We’ll try to resolve them.

12.3. Terms may be updated over time.

13. COMPLAINTS

​

13.1. To file a complaint, email daisyd.cleaningservice@gmail.com.

13.2. First, try to resolve issues directly with the Cleaner. If unresolved, contact us and we may offer to re-perform the service using another Cleaner at no extra cost.

14. DATA PROTECTION

​

14.1. We process your personal data in line with UK data protection laws. See our Privacy Policy for details.

15. LEGAL TERMS

​

15.1. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest remain effective.

15.2. These terms are governed by English law.
